The Village of Howard will begin construction on a roundabout on Cardinal Lane in front of Community Church, meaning our front entrance will be closed beginning August 3 through early October.

The only entrance into GBCC for approximately two months will be in the back, coming off Riverview Drive and Community Way.

As part of the project, the village has paid for and constructed a road on the south end of our property (where the crosses used to stand) that will connect both GBCC parking lots. A one-way traffic pattern around our building has been set up to help the flow of cars in and out of our facility.

Please be patient and gracious with fellow drivers as we navigate through the transition period.

We are looking for volunteers to serve as parking lot attendants. Please contact GBCC facilities director Doug Peterman ( ) if you want to lend a hand.

Since Cardinal Lane will be completely blocked off near the GBCC front entrance, attenders will need to find slightly adjusted routes to get to our facility.

If traveling south on Cardinal, the two best ways to get to GBCC are as follows:

*Take a right (west) on Glendale, left on Hillcrest, left on Riverview and left on Community Way.

*Take a left (east) on Glendale, right on Velp, right on Riverview and right on Community Way.

If traveling north on Cardinal, turn right on Riverview (east) and left on Community Way.
