children

It is our mission that every child feels loved and known while learning about and growing closer to Jesus in a safe environment that is fun and engaging.

Sundays

  • Our youngest children experience God's precious love for them through the nurturing care they receive from our trained volunteers. Children participate in First Look curriculum, which is designed to give them a first impression of their loving, heavenly Father. It is designed to be simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month. Fun activities, crafts, Bible stories. Bible memorization and worship time are part of the plan to help a child believe three key truths: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Take-home resources are provided as tools to reinforce Biblical truths and equip parents as the primary spiritual developers of their children’s faith.

    WHAT SHOULD PARENTS BRING?

    Disposable diapers and wipes

    Pacifier or other comfort item

    Bottle with mixing/heating instructions

Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with the child's name

  • At this age kids start to learn what it means to love God and one another, and they should have lots of fun in the process!

Our volunteer team teaches the children about the basics of their faith in Jesus Christ using First Look curriculum, which is designed to give children a first impression of their loving, heavenly Father. They sing great worship songs with lots of movement, play games and work on craft projects that encourage creativity and help reinforce three key truths: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Take-home resources are provided as tools to reinforce Bible truths and equip parents as the primary spiritual developers of their children’s faith.

  • Children in Kindergarten through 4th grade learn how to dive deep into the big story of the Bible - God's plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Kids actively participate in a time of worship, engage with a large group Bible story lesson, and are also part of a dynamic small group time that include prayer and personal one-on-one discussions where lifetime friendships are formed. Children experience all three of these activities with peers close in age so that the teaching can be presented at a developmentally appropriate level. Age groupings are Kinder, 1st and 2nd together & 3rd grade through 5th grade together.

WHAT SHOULD PARENTS BRING? An age-appropriate Bible for your child

beyond sunday

  • Wednesday Nights at Community is an experience for anyone and everyone! Our goal, from a children's ministry perspective, is to disciple children on their walk with Jesus. By creating space for small groups of students to gather with their adult leaders, they get a chance to develop deep relationships with one another while deepening their relationship with God through fun and engaging, faith deepening activities. We also aim to equip parents as the spiritual leaders in their homes by providing adult groups spaces for adults to connect with each other and deepen their faith in Christ. We hope you'll join us for this fun time with family and friends, learning about Jesus and deepening our relationship with the Father!

Our next semester begins on September 11, 2024.

All groups will run from 6:00pm to 7:15 pm.
