Weekly Highlight
practicing the way
We found the 8-week Practicing the Way course by John Mark Comer to be a great foundation builder for your faith. It helps you establish a weekly rhythm of learning about the ways of Jesus within a community. You'll practice your own spiritual disciplines and deepen your relationship with God regularly. The next group will be starting on Wednesday, April 16, to learn more and sign up, click HERE.

SAFE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN: BRINGING STABILITY & SUPPORT
Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is on a mission to stabilize struggling families and keep kids out of the foster care system. When a family faces crisis, a parent's ability to meet their child’s needs can quickly change, and many lack the social support to navigate difficult times. SFFC recruits, trains, and empowers church volunteers to build relationships with these families, creating organic support networks through Host Families, Family Friends, Family Coaches, and Resource Friends. Volunteers provide temporary housing, babysitting, mentoring, transportation, and other tangible support, while parents work toward stability with guidance from staff. If you’re interested in learning more or getting involved, sign up here to be contacted by Ministry Leader Kenna Kanneberg.

BIBLE READING PLAN!
We're about 75 days into the Bible reading plan, and if you’ve missed days or fallen behind, that’s okay—what matters is that you’re here now. God isn’t focused on what you’ve missed; He simply longs to meet with you through His Word. So take a deep breath, open your Bible, and let His grace lead you forward.
GENEROSITY REPORT
〰️
GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️
Giving is an expression of our gratitude and love for God and others. When we share what we have, we participate in building His kingdom and blessing those around us. As Acts 20:35 says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." At GBCC we strive to live with open hands, reflecting God's heart of generosity in all we do.
As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand.
For the week of March 20th • Total giving was $31,810--about $6,700 below our target.
As the theologian and bishop Saint Basil of Caesarea once said, "When wealth is scattered in the manner in which our Lord directed, it naturally returns, but when it is gathered it naturally disperses. If you try to keep it, you will not have it: if you scatter it, you will not lose it." When we give, we help build a community rooted in love, kindness, and selflessness, reflecting the very nature of Christ! Thank you for your commitment and passion for reflecting the nature of Christ in our church!
