christmas at gbcc!

Join us this Christmas Eve as we explore the profound mystery of "Tabernacling" – God's ancient promise to dwell among His people fulfilled in the birth of Jesus. Just as the tabernacle was God's portable sanctuary moving with the Israelites through the wilderness, Christmas celebrates the ultimate fulfillment of God's desire to be with us. Come discover how the Christmas story transforms us into living Cathedrals – carrying God's presence wherever we go. Each service will accommodate 750 attenders, so to assist us in having a place for you and your guests, we are asking you RSVP for you and your family for the service you will attend! RSVP HERE.

christmas cookies!!

We are so excited to serve Christmas cookies this year at our Christmas Eve services! To help make this happen, we are asking for cookie donations. Grab your family, friends, or small group and decorate cookies to drop off to be served on Christmas Eve. You can drop them off in the main lobby during our office hours starting Monday, December 8th (Mon–Thu, 9am–3pm), as well as during Sunday services. We just ask that they be nut-free to accommodate allergies!

december giving message from troy!

As we enter this Advent season, we’re reminded that generosity is at the very heart of God’s story. Scripture teaches that every good gift comes from Him, and that our giving is both an act of worship and a reflection of His own generosity toward us. As we approach the end of the year, we invite you to prayerfully consider how God might be leading you to give—joyfully, sacrificially, and with a vision for what He can do through a people committed to His Kingdom. Every December, your generous giving helps us continue sharing the hope of Jesus in meaningful, practical ways throughout the rest of the year.

As we look back, we’re deeply grateful for all that was accomplished through last year’s December giving: Supporting Missionary Partners in Vietnam and Wycliffe Bible Translation, Paid off Line of Credit, Installed new gym carpet, Completed another large section of much needed roof repairs, Repaired additional roof top HVAC units.

Each step made possible by your faithfulness. Looking ahead, we believe God is calling us to new opportunities to serve, disciple, and reach our community, including:Local Refuge Mission Support, Hitting our monthly budget for December, Catching up on the Giving Gap since September, Completing the first of the final 2 sections of roof repairs, Beginning the funding of the final section of roof repairs, Funding the architectural design of a Miracle League Field.

For more information and details regarding this special year-end giving push, watch this video from Ps. Troy.

Thank you for partnering with us in this mission. Your generosity not only fuels ministry; it changes lives, strengthens the church, and advances the Gospel in ways that reach far beyond a single season.

GENEROSITY REPORT

〰️

GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️

At GBCC, we see giving as an act of worship to the Lord. Giving also provides an opportunity for the church to make an impact for the Kingdom of God in our community. In Proverbs chapter 3 verse 27 it says, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act." As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay and reach our December giving goal, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. We are happy to share that so far we have been able to raise $78,026 towards our $341,000

December goal to: -Support our Local Refugee Missional Partners at the Sawa Sawa Collective & New Start Services -Reach our Monthly Budget and Eliminate the Fiscal Year Budget Gap -Complete the Next Phase of our Roof repairs -Fund the architectural design of a Miracle League Field Thank you for your prayers and contributions that helped make this happen!

Currently, we are on average approximately $1,800 short of our weekly budget goal. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of December 11th • Total giving was $31,440 -- about $7,000 below our target. We’ve recently added 27 new givers, and in the coming months we are praying that God will raise up 23 additional new regular givers to join us in supporting the ministry of GBCC.

Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community! The German priest and theologian Martin Luther once said, “The heart of the giver makes the gift dear and precious." Would you join us in praying for hearts to continue to be opened to generosity within our community?
