NEW SMALL GROUP: REASON FOR GOD BY TIM KELLER
Starting Sunday, Sept. 28, we’ll be starting a new series around the topic of deconstruction through the lens of Jesus’ life and the gospel. Our teaching team will parallel themes from Tim Keller’s Reason for God with biblical stories and principles. We encourage groups—and new gatherings—to walk through Keller’s book and study guide during these 8 weeks. Books and guides are available in the church lobby or view resources for this series and group here.

could god be calling you to foster?
Brian and Mackenzie Wojta have been opening their home—and their hearts—through foster care with Foundations, an agency that walks closely with families taking in Level 2 and 3 foster placements. These placements often last longer, allowing deeper relationships to grow—and Foundations provides consistent, whole-family support along the way. If you’ve ever wondered what foster care is really like, the Wojtas would be happy to share their experience and help connect you with the right people at Foundations. Contact Brian here to get connected.

GENEROSITY REPORT
〰️
GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️
At GBCC, we see giving as an act of worship to the Lord. Giving also provides an opportunity for the church to make an impact for the Kingdom of God in our community. In Proverbs chapter 3 verse 27 it says, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act." This month, we are happy to share that we were able to donate over $1,000 to purchase transparent backpacks for Green Bay area school children! Thank you for your prayers and contributions that helped make this happen! As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Currently, we are on average approximately $7,400 short of our weekly budget goal.
Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of September 18th • Total giving was $31,946—about $6,500 below our target. In the coming months, we are praying that God will raise up many new regular givers to join us in supporting the important work of the Kingdom here in Green Bay.
Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community! The German priest and theologian Martin Luther once said, “The heart of the giver makes the gift dear and precious." Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
