could god be calling you to foster?

Brian and Mackenzie Wojta have been opening their home—and their hearts—through foster care with Foundations, an agency that walks closely with families taking in Level 2 and 3 foster placements. These placements often last longer, allowing deeper relationships to grow—and Foundations provides consistent, whole-family support along the way. If you’ve ever wondered what foster care is really like, the Wojtas would be happy to share their experience and help connect you with the right people at Foundations. Contact Brian here to get connected.

NEW SMALL GROUP: REASON FOR GOD BY TIM KELLER

Beginning Sunday, September 28, we’re launching a new 8-week series that parallels with Timothy Keller’s book Reason for God. Each Sunday message will follow the same themes, and we’ll provide simple, self-guided outlines for you to use during the week. This is the perfect time to invite friends, neighbors, or coworkers to gather in your home to read, discuss, and pray together. No experience needed—just a willingness to connect and grow in faith. GENEROSITY REPORT

〰️

GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️

At GBCC, we see giving not just as a responsibility but as a joyful opportunity to demonstrate our love and obedience to God. In Hebrews, giving is listed as an act of worship to the Lord. In chapter 13 verses 15-16 it says, "Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God." As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey.

Currently, we are on average approximately $2,700 short of our weekly budget goal. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of September 4th • Total giving was $35,742—about $2,700 below our target. In the coming months, we are praying that God will continue to raise up new regular givers to join us in supporting the important work of the Kingdom here in Green Bay. Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community!

The evangelist Billy Graham once said, “God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.” Would you join us in praying for hands and hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
