does your child want to be baptized??

Is your child asking questions about what it means to follow Jesus or have they made the decision to follow Jesus, but haven't been baptized yet? We’d love to have you all at our next Splash Class! We’ll chat about the who, what, why of baptism, discuss the differences between salvation and baptism, and will answer questions children may have about what to expect when getting baptized during a service on Sunday morning at GBCC. Join us this Sunday, November 9 at 11:30am in the Cave. Register here.

THIS SUNDAY'S MESSAGE 〰️

This Sunday we continue in our series called “Jesus and the Deconstruction Dilemma” - where we will be exploring the topic of "deconstruction" within the context of Christian faith, specifically examining what it means through the lens of Jesus’ life, teachings, or the gospel. This weekend we will be teaching on the contrast between science and Christianity! Bring your bibles, invite a friend and join us at 8am or 10am, with a hot breakfast at 9am!

ready to take the next step in your faITH?

Scripture teaches that those who put their trust in Christ for salvation should be baptized as a public declaration of their faith. Baptism symbolizes our union with Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:1–14, Matthew 28:18–20). It’s a physical act that represents a spiritual reality: we are no longer dead in our sin, but alive in Christ. Our next baptisms will take place during both services on Sunday, November 16th at 8am and 10am. To sign up or learn more visit here.

CELEBRATING OCTOBER’S GIVING TREE IMPACT

In October, The Giving Tree Food Pantry served 186 families, distributed over 6,900 pounds of food, and saw more than 219 volunteer hours given in service. Each hour, donation, and act of kindness made a difference—thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and nourish our community!

GENEROSITY REPORT

〰️

GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️

At GBCC, we see giving not just as a responsibility but as a joyful opportunity to demonstrate our love and obedience to God. In Hebrews, giving is listed as an act of worship to the Lord. In chapter 13 verses 15-16 it says, "Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God." As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey.

Currently, we are on average approximately $3,100 short of our weekly budget goal. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of October 30th • Total giving was $25,383—about $13,000 below our target.

In the coming months, we are praying that God will raise up 50 new regular givers to join us in supporting the important work of the Kingdom here in Green Bay. Your contributions truly make a difference in advancing our mission and serving our community! The evangelist Billy Graham once said, “God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.” Would you join us in praying for hands and hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
