fmsc M&m donations!
We get to be part of something powerful! Starting this Sunday, your child can pick up a tube of M&M’s after service (with a parent present). They eat the candy, then fill the empty tube with quarters during the week. Each filled tube helps feed 50 kids through Feed My Starving Children! Return tubes to the kiosk or drop them in the big red M&M man near kids' check-in. It’s a fun way to teach generosity and show our kids how to be the hands and feet of Jesus—one quarter at a time. Don’t forget—our MobilePack is October 6–9. Details are at the kiosk, and sign-ups open in August! Learn more here.
Celebrating Impact Through the Giving Tree Food Pantry
We are so thankful for the incredible work happening through the Giving Tree Food Pantry right here at Green Bay Community Church! In July alone, your generosity helped meet real needs in our community: 🍎 148 families served 🥫 6,700+ lbs of food distributed 💜 75 individuals received feminine care products 👶 33 children received diapers Every number represents a story, a smile, and a reminder that we are called to love our neighbors in tangible ways. Thank you to the amazing volunteers and donors for making this ministry possible—you are the hands and feet of Jesus! 🙌 If you’d like to learn more about how you can support the Giving Tree Food Pantry, visit here.

READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR FAITH?
Scripture teaches that those who put their trust in Christ for salvation should be baptized as a public declaration of their faith. Baptism symbolizes our union with Jesus—His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:1–14, Matthew 28:18–20). It’s a physical act that represents a spiritual reality: we are no longer dead in our sin, but alive in Christ. Our next baptism will take place during both services on Sunday, August 24 at 8am and 10am. To sign up or learn more visit here.
If you feel your child is interested and ready for baptism, please connect with our Children’s Ministry staff at childrens@gbcc.me so we can walk alongside you and your family through this exciting expression of faith. Prior to any child getting baptized we do ask the parents to connect with a member of our Children's Staff.
children’s ministry: august 24
During the 8am service on Sunday, August 24, there will be children's programming nursery - PreK only. Kinder - 5th graders during the 8am service will join their families in the main service. All classrooms, nursery - 5th grade, will be open during the 10am service only.
no in-person gathering on sunday, august 31!
On Sunday, August 31, there will be no in-person service at GBCC. Instead, we’ll share a short video message for you to watch at a time that works best for you over Labor Day Weekend. There are a few reasons for this change—two of the biggest are that we want to encourage connection in smaller, more personal settings (with neighbors, small groups, or house gatherings), and the gym will be mid-way through a carpet replacement. We’d love for you to use this as an opportunity to gather with others—invite friends, host a cookout, share breakfast, or sit around a campfire together. Afterwards, take some time to talk about the message and pray together.

GENEROSITY REPORT
〰️
GENEROSITY REPORT 〰️
Giving is an expression of our gratitude and love for God and others. When we share what we have, we participate in building His kingdom and blessing those around us. As Acts 20:35 says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." At GBCC we strive to live with open hands, reflecting God's heart of generosity in all we do. As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey.
Each week we will inform you of where we stand. Currently, we are on average approximately $1,500 short of our weekly budget goal. For the week of August 14th • Total giving was $26,105--about $12,300 below our target
As the theologian and bishop Saint Basil of Caesarea once said, "When wealth is scattered in the manner in which our Lord directed, it naturally returns, but when it is gathered it naturally disperses. If you try to keep it, you will not have it: if you scatter it, you will not lose it." When we give, we help build a community rooted in love, kindness, and selflessness, reflecting the very nature of Christ! Thank you for your commitment and passion for reflecting the nature of Christ in our church!
