Emma serves as the Elementary Coordinator in GBCC’s Children’s Ministry. She began attending GBCC in August 2023 and quickly felt a sense of home and belonging. After recognizing the importance of strong spiritual foundations in childhood, Emma began volunteering in January 2024, feeling called to step in and support the kids of GBCC with love and consistency.

Emma is passionate about creating a faith-filled environment where children feel known, loved, and empowered to grow in their relationship with Jesus. She loves witnessing their joy, curiosity, and trust in God's love—and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them as they discover who Jesus is.

Her hope is to plant seeds of faith that will grow into lifelong devotion and to support families as they raise their children in faith and build meaningful community.

One of her favorite Bible verses that inspires her work is Proverbs 22:6 — “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

Emma grew up in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until she began attending GBCC that she truly surrendered her life to Christ and developed a personal relationship with Him. She comes from a close-knit family and has two younger sisters, Brooke and Amelia and her parents Jessica and Nathan.

Outside of church, Emma enjoys spending time with friends and family, thrifting, and playing pickleball outdoors. Fun fact: she also works full time as a registered nurse!
