What year did you begin attending GBCC and what brought you here:

We began regularly attending GBCC in 1988. We visited a number of Bible churches in the Green Bay area before we made the decision to join and attend GBCC. It was the teaching by then pastor, Joe Urcavich, and the friendliness of the people that solidified our stay at Community.

When did you accept Christ. Briefly describe the circumstances:

My wife, Rita, and I attended a home bible meeting at a friend’s home. After a few gatherings with other christians we decided to move on with Jesus. I made a commitment to accept Jesus into my life and follow Him in 1971.

What energizes you about serving as a Shepherd Elder?

I like the idea about serving the needs of the community with our facilities, providing solid biblical teaching to attendees, and providing a church where people can grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Free-time activities:

I like fishing, hunting and keeping our lot looking nice and inviting.
