Finance & HR Director

Hometown: Ashwaubenon, WI.

My faith in Christ was kindled when my older brother came home from first grade and told me all about Jesus after a 6-year old classmate shared the gospel with him. After that, my family began to faithfully attend church. When I was a teenager, I met the girl who would become my wife; together we made a commitment that we would serve and follow Christ. We haven’t looked back!

How long have you been married? My wife Kylee and I have been married for 9 years (2015) and have three children.

What are some of your hobbies or activities you enjoy outside of work? I’m an avid reader and have read 100+ books per year since 2016, I enjoy golfing, being outside in nature and spending time with my wife and kids.

Education & Ministry:

Where did you go to school, and what did you study? I went to school at UW-Milwaukee and El Centro College in Dallas with a focus on Kinesiology and Nursing. After moving to Dallas, I served in ministry for seven years in both administrative and pastoral roles.

What excites you most about your role here at the church? I love that I get to make an impact in the community where I grew up, and bring my passion for serving His church back to my hometown. GBCC is a vibrant church that substantially impacts the surrounding community. It’s an honor to be a part of what God is doing in our city.

What are your passions for serving the Church?

What gifts or passions do you feel called to use in serving God and His people? I am passionate about stewardship, discipleship, generosity, leadership, and biblical counseling. I am excited to use my administrative and leadership giftings in my role at GBCC. My heart is that we will see the Kingdom of God “In Green Bay as it is in Heaven.”

Do you have a favorite Bible verse or passage?
My favorite bible verses are
Acts 4:13 “When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished, and they took note that these men had been with Jesus” and
James 5:17 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours (with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings), yet he prayed fervently for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the Earth for three years and six months.”
These verses remind me of the type of man I strive to be; not finding my worth in impressing others or accruing achievements, but rather through the image of Jesus reflected by me and the power of fervently drawing near the Lord in prayer.
