Shepherd Elder

Occupation: Business Owner. (Co-Founder of Dirt Juicery)

Hometown: Green Bay, WI

What year did you begin attending GBCC and what brought you here:

My husband and I started attending GBCC in 1999. It was important for us as

we started a family to be a part of a church that was speaking Biblical truths

and one where we would be growing continually in the Word.

When did you accept Christ. Briefly describe the circumstances:

I accepted Christ and was baptized at GBCC on March 31, 2013. Although I

was learning all about who Christ WAS, it wasn’t until this day, when I

completely surrendered myself, that my eyes were opened to what Christ DID

for me. Since then, I have been walking daily with the Lord, discovering and

forever learning what it looks like to follow and be a true disciple of Him.

Truly, by HIS Grace, I am what I am.

What energizes you about serving as a Shepherd Elder?

Doing life with people! In the high and lows, God is always moving in His

people, and to be able to be an ear, a shoulder, and an encourager of His

Truth would be such an honor.

Free-time activities: Going on long walks with our dog, Tucker, learning about holistic health/nutrition, while constantly trying to figure out what to make for dinner, hitting some great thrift stores and collecting Bibles & pretty yearly planners.😀
