What year did you begin attending GBCC and what brought you here: We started attending GBCC in 2015. As college freshmen, we were invited by a senior from Cru to tag along to church one week. We loved the teaching and became regular attenders. Now, our church family is a huge reason why we chose to stay in Green Bay.
When did you accept Christ. Briefly describe the circumstances: I said I “accepted Christ” at a summer camp in 5th grade, where the gospel was first clearly laid out for me. However, I truly started growing in my relationship with God in college, where I became involved in Cru and started investing in my personal relationship with Jesus.
What energizes you about serving as a Shepherd Elder:
Having a role that allows me to be more readily found to provide encouragement and support to others pursuing Christ, as I’ve received so much support over the years,
Free-time activities: Cooking, spending time with family, gardening, trying local restaurants (especially farm to table restaurants).
