Melissa is from Fond du Lac, WI and is now currently retired!

"My family and I began attending GBCC in 1999. We were invited by Jen Koss. We decided to leave the Catholic Church and were in search of opportunities to grow in our faith."

"I came to understand my need for Jesus as my Lord and savior in 1999.  I was pregnant with my 3rd child and was in awe of the miracle of pregnancy and birth. I realized God is real and working in my life. Through this process, the truth of John 3:16 became real - and so did Jesus."

 "I went through Rooted and Navigate and my spiritual gift is acts of service , which confirmed my passion. I enjoy supporting causes, helping others, making meals and baking. Serving others brings me joy. My role as a Shepherd Elder allows me to more fully use my spiritual gift."

In her free time she enjoys hiking, working out, spending time with my husband and children, traveling, baking and decorating cookies.
