We want to keep you connected to the heart of Together Green Bay. This monthly newsletter features three sections: Celebrating Impact, Be Part of the Story, and Loving Our City Together. We believe every story, every gathering, and every step forward is a reflection of God’s faithfulness at work in our church and our city.

When Troy Murphy first invited his entire staff to the Summit, three people showed up. But the event had unlocked something in him. He kept going back, then signed the church up as a partner site. Each year he set out more chairs, hoping they would be filled.
Then one year, a local superintendent brought 100 of his staff to Troy’s site. Teachers had first changed Troy’s life. Now, because of an invitation he’d refused to stop extending, educators from across the school district were sitting in seats he’d been praying would be filled.

Praxis is a venture-building ecosystem with a redemptive imagination, supporting founders, funders, and innovators motivated by their faith to address the major issues of our time.

Troy’s doctoral research looked at a simple but stubborn question, how does real transformational change actually happen? Not just in a moment, but over time, in a person, then in a team or organization, and eventually in a whole city. What he found is that the leaders who end up shaping their communities almost never start there. They start by getting their own house in order, then their team, and the city follows.
