Growing up in the Darboy area of Appleton, Jen was raised in a family with a strong faith foundation. She grew up in the church and has carried that faith with her throughout her life, continuing to trust God and walk closely with Him through every season.

Jen married her husband, DJ, in December of 2025, and together they have a blended family of four adult children. Her children are 24 and 22, and DJ’s children are 23 and 22. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks, riding bikes, or taking road trips with her husband. She also loves reading and finding time to slow down and recharge.

She earned a degree in communications from UW–Whitewater. What excites Jen most about serving at GBCC is the opportunity to connect with both the staff and church community. She especially enjoys coordinating retreats, working closely with hosts, and helping manage the details that create meaningful and memorable experiences for guests.

Jen feels especially called to serve others through the spiritual gift of servanthood. She is passionate about helping and supporting people in ways that allow them to step into their own gifts and calling as well. Her heart for service reflects her desire to honor God by caring for others with love and intentionality.

One of Jen’s favorite Bible verses is 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
