Jordan Holvick

Children’s Coordinator

Jordan grew up on the east side of Green Bay, with her family home near the Astor Park area. Some of her favorite childhood memories were also made at her family’s cabin near Crivitz and visiting family in Escanaba. Her faith journey began through her great-grandmother, who taught her how to pray and introduced her to God’s love at a young age. After losing touch with her faith for a season following her great-grandmother’s passing, Jordan rediscovered her relationship with Christ as she got older, married, and prepared to raise a family of her own grounded in faith and love for God.

Jordan is married to her high school boyfriend and middle school crush. In 2026, they are celebrating three years of marriage, nine years together, and their daughter’s first birthday. Outside of church, Jordan loves spending time at her cabin boating, swimming, enjoying campfires, and making memories with family. She also enjoys painting and creative work and runs her own photography business, Jordan Makenzi Photography. One of her favorite things is turning up the music in the kitchen and dancing with her family.

Jordan graduated from high school with her EMT license and several college credits already completed before earning her nursing degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Although she worked in nursing for a short time, she felt God calling her in a different direction. What excites her most about serving at GBCC is the opportunity to teach children about the love of God, just as her grandmother once taught her. She is passionate about helping kids understand that God loves them on their best and worst days, and that His love never runs out.

Jordan feels especially called to connect with people and build meaningful relationships with families, team members, and children in Community Kids. She loves helping children grow in their relationships with God, their families, and one another.

One of Jordan’s favorite passages is Psalm 23, which has deeply encouraged her throughout her faith journey. As her mother lives with an incurable disease, Jordan has learned what it means to trust God through difficult seasons and find peace in knowing He walks beside her every step of the way.
