neighborhood shepherds

We are loving our city by intentionally increasing the care & connections among our GBCC in neighborhoods. Consider joining this team by becoming a Neighborhood Shepherd.

  • GBCC community is connected with and cared for in neighborhoods.

    o   Pray, Listen, Eat with, Serve and Share stories with others in your neighborhood from GBCC.

    o   Offer support, check-ins and availability to our church community in their day-to-day lives.

    o   Spiritually guide others in their faith journey, eventually join a small group or discipleship relationship and become Good Neighbors.

  • ·      Neighborhood shepherds take initiative to pray, make connections, gather and provide care within local neighborhoods.

    ·      Utilize Neighborhood gatherings (3x/year), trainings (monthly) & Bless App (weekly)

  • Neighborhood Shepherds will be selected from GBCC Community Core and vetted individuals who love Jesus, love people and want to provide shepherding in their local neighborhoods.

  • Commit to:

    1.        Commitment to regularly pursue existing GBCC people in their neighborhood

    2.        Connect with new movers to make first contact

    3.        Using Bless App/database

    4.        Attend Monthly Trainings. Held in neighborhoods

    5.        Neighborhood Gatherings (3x/year) and Block Party / cook outs
