FMSC 5K RUN/WALK I SATURDAY, SEPT 19 AT 8AM

Walk it, run it, bring the family—and help feed hungry kids! Enjoy music, post-race snacks and raffles, too. Register by Monday, Aug. 24 to guarantee your preferred T-shirt size. FMSC CHILDREN’S COLOR RUN

Kids are helping raise awareness and money for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in a fun way! Come to GBCC on Friday, September 18, and join us for our first Kids Color Run in hopes of bringing nourishing food to more children. Wear as much white as you can and prepare to have fun and get messy! $5/participant, registration closes one week before the race. Learn more and register here.

A SEASON OF TRANSITION

Over the past few months, there have been several changes within our Arts Department. Patrick Stiller (Worship Leader) and his wife, Andrea and family, have moved to North Carolina to be part of a new church plant, following what they believe is God's calling. Ben Crouse (Tech Director) has accepted a new position with Emplify Health, and Kate Cullum has stepped away from her role as Worship Pastor. Each of them has faithfully served our church and made a meaningful impact on our staff, volunteers, and community. We are deeply grateful for the ways they have used their gifts to lead others in worship and serve behind the scenes. They will each be greatly missed. Please join us in thanking Patrick, Ben, and Kate for their faithful ministry at Green Bay Community Church. We pray God's blessing over each of them as they begin this next chapter and trust that He will continue to use them in the places He has called them. As we move forward, we are grateful for the many volunteers who continue to faithfully serve each week and are excited to see how God will continue to lead and provide for our Arts Ministry.

**neighborhood gathering september 6**

On Labor Day Weekend, we are doing another Neighborhood Gathering! Instead of gathering under one roof, we’re asking our GBCC church family to be the church in their neighborhoods — hosting or attending a Neighborhood Gathering right where they live. We will provide a teaching video to anchor your time together, but the real win is the conversations, connections, and relationships that happen with the people next door. We will also have conversation questions for after the message.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

Giving is the intentional spiritual practice of sharing one's resources, time and talents with others, motivated by love and obedience to God. This practice recognizes that all we have comes from God and serves as an expression of faith and gratitude. It fosters generosity and selflessness, benefiting both the giver and the recipient while reflecting God's heart in caring for others.  As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand.

For the week ending August 5th:  Total giving was $37,409—about $1,053 below our target. Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? As the German priest and theologian Martin Luther once said, “I have held many things in my hand, and have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands that I still possess.”  Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
