HERE’S YOUR WEEKLY OVERVIEW OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AT COMMUNITY CHURCH + IN THE COMMUNITY!

highlight of the week: 5k with a purpose!

Every day, thousands of children around the world die from hunger-related causes. That's why we run. Join us this Saturday, September 19 for the Green Bay MobilePack 5K Run/Walk and help support this year's Feed My Starving Children MobilePack. Every registration helps provide life-saving meals to children in need—with just $30 providing over 100 meals.

This October, our community will gather for the 14th annual MobilePack with a goal of funding and packing 801,000 meals. Last year, more than 3,300 volunteers packed over 676,000 meals in just four days! Whether you're running, walking, or cheering others on, your participation makes a difference. Register today and help bring hope—one meal at a time.

Splash class

Is your child asking questions about what it means to follow Jesus or have they made the decision to follow Jesus, but haven't been baptized yet? Our goal is to help families prepare for baptism and this class is intentionally designed to facilitate conversation between children and parents. We also want to help make sure that children fully understand their decision to get baptized.

Children’s baptisms will take place following Splash Class on Sunday, October 11 during both services.

Sunday, September 27 following 10am service in The Cave.

Learn more and sign up here.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

Giving is an expression of our gratitude and love for God and others. When we share what we have, we participate in building His kingdom and blessing those around us. As Acts 20:35 says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." At GBCC we strive to live with open hands, reflecting God's heart of generosity in all we do. As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand.

For the week of September 9th • Total giving was $41,354 bringing our weekly average to just under $18,000 below target. As Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." When we give, we help build a community rooted in love, kindness, and selflessness, reflecting the very nature of Christ. Thank you for your commitment and passion for reflecting the nature of Christ in our church!
