Connect to Community is the perfect opportunity to learn more about GBCC and take your next step in getting connected. Held on the first Sunday of each month from 10–11am, this casual gathering gives you the chance to meet members of our pastoral team, elders, and staff while enjoying a complimentary breakfast. You'll hear about our mission, values, and ministries, discover ways to get involved, and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Whether you're new to GBCC or have been attending for a while, we'd love to help you build relationships and find your place in our church family.

The Forge - Wednesday, September 30 - Disciple THE CHURCH
Our new Wednesday night rhythm continues next Wednesday, September 30. This week’s theme is Disciple the Church and the evening will help individuals shape their understanding of how the church functions, serve from their gifting, and carry the leadership culture and mission of GBCC as their own. RESTORE WOMEN’S RETREATS OCTOBER!
Looking for a chance to slow down, recharge, and connect with other women? This fall, Restore is offering two unique retreat experiences in Stephenson, MI. Whether you're seeking deep rest and reflection or a refreshing weekend of fellowship and encouragement, there's a retreat designed for you.
A Weekend of Rest, Rhythm & Renewal (October 1–4, 2026)
Join Tonya Dittman and other women for a 3.5-day retreat focused on slowing down, reconnecting with your body, and experiencing deep rest. Through practices like breathwork, restorative yoga, journaling, silence, nature, and personal reflection, you'll create space to release hurry and embrace restoration.
Relax, Restore, Unplug – Women's Fall Retreat (October 8–11, 2026)
Join Darcy Zent and other women for a refreshing 3.5-day getaway. If you've never experienced a Restore retreat, this is the perfect opportunity to discover what you've been missing. Enjoy meaningful fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and true rest alongside other Christian women.

CHILDREN’S BAPTISM SUNDAY
Sunday, October 11 we'll host another Children's baptism in the Cave during both the 8am and 10am services for kids ages 5. years old - 5th grade. If your child is interested or ready to publicly choose Jesus - let us know! The Splash Class prior to baptism will be held after second service on September 27 in the Community Kids offices. PRAY FOR AMERICA
Celebrating America's 250th Anniversary Pray for America is a community-wide opportunity to join others in prayer for our city, state, and nation. Stop by Green Bay Community Church on Saturday, October 3, anytime between 9:00–11:00 AM, and walk through the outdoor prayer stations at your own pace. Prayer prompts are provided at each stop as we lift up our families, churches, education, nonprofits, businesses, military, media, government, and our nation. Everyone is welcome! HEART WORK BOOK STUDY
Registration for a 6-week women’s book study of “The Heart Work - Declutter Your Past to Make Room For An Amazing Future” by Jackie Dorman is now open. The book study is being led by both GBCC and Elevation Church facilitators and will be held on Thursday evenings, from 6:00-8:00PM in Room 206 starting September 24. Learn more and sign up here.

Women! We have an opportunity you won’t want to miss. The Known Women’s Conference is hosting its annual conference, bringing women together for worship, fellowship, and nationally acclaimed speakers.
Known exists to strengthen faith, connect women, and grow community, creating space for authentic conversations and lasting relationships across denominations and backgrounds.

MEN’S FALL FISHING RESTORE RETREAT
Calling all outdoorsmen! Join a group of men for a relaxing weekend of fishing, fellowship, and time away in the beautiful Michigan Upper Peninsula. This 3.5-day retreat is based at a lodge situated on a quarter-mile stretch of the Menominee River, offering access to some of the best fishing in the UP. Whether you're an experienced angler or just enjoy being outdoors, this is a great opportunity to connect with other men, enjoy God's creation, and make lasting memories. Transportation is included as the group will travel together on the Restore bus.
WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT
Giving is the intentional spiritual practice of sharing one's resources, time and talents with others, motivated by love and obedience to God. This practice recognizes that all we have comes from God and serves as an expression of faith and gratitude. It fosters generosity and selflessness, benefiting both the giver and the recipient while reflecting God's heart in caring for others. As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand. For the week of September 16 • Total giving was $37,710—about $2,675 below our target. Would you join us in praying for hearts to be opened to generosity within our community? As the German priest and theologian Martin Luther once said, “I have held many things in my hand, and have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands that I still possess.” Thank you for your commitment and passion for our church!
